A rave-party takes place in the village of Loublande, located in the north of Deux-Sèvres, gathering nearly 300 people, according to Le Courrier de l'Ouest. The festive gathering began Friday night and is expected to continue until Sunday afternoon. The free party was not declared, the owner of the plot used by the revellers was not notified in advance, says the local newspaper.
The police present on the spot carried out checks near the site. Several offences for driving under drugs were noted. In addition, annoying parking on public roads has also been fined.
Complaints from local residents
Local residents expressed their dissatisfaction, especially because of the noise pollution in the night from Friday to Saturday. The presence of gendarmerie forces will be maintained throughout the weekend on site, warns the daily. Checks will have to continue.
