There has never been anything like this on "The Voice": A candidate of the singing show causes a total failure of the technology with his singing.
Berlin – Even eleven years after the very first season aired, since countless up-and-coming music newcomers have faced the four iconic chairs, "The Voice of Germany" is not spared from one or the other technical problem. In the second round of this year's blind auditions, Niklas "Fischi" Scholz (22) wants to impress the jury around pop star Giovanni Zarrella (45) with a song by the rock band Motörhead - and unexpectedly causes a complete state of emergency in the studio.
"Studio system destroyed": Candidate paralyzes everything with his singing on "The Voice"
The passionate rocker is rewarded with four buzzers for his performance, but when Shirin David (28) and her jury colleagues want to speak, suddenly nothing works. First a buzz, then a hall and then suddenly the microphones of the four jurors go on strike. "I really believe that the sound system has just been broken by his singing," theorizes presenter Thore Schölermann (38) about the reason for the total technical failure – and is absolutely right.

"This talent has just destroyed the studio system with his brute singing," it says in an overlay. Fortunately, however, a solution is quickly found: Niklas, who in the end chooses Team Bill and Tom Kaulitz, communicates with the jury with the help of a megaphone. One thing is already clear: the four music stars and the audience will remember his performance for a long time to come.
For his "The Voice" debut, Giovanni Zarrella has to take a devastating feedback from fans on the net. Sources used:ProSieben/SAT.1/The Voice of Germany/Episode of September 22, 2023
