Brawl during which 14-year-old Muhammad Abu Hoash was shot dead in Rahat/Section 27A of the Copyright Law
An 18-year-old man was shot and killed Saturday night in neighborhood 2 in Rahat. An MDA team that arrived at the scene gave him medical treatment and evacuated him to Soroka Hospital in Beer Sheva in critical condition and performing CPR, where the teams were forced to pronounce him dead a short time later.
"We saw the injured man lying unconscious with no pulse and no breathing and penetrating wounds to his body," MDA medic Malek Abu 'Arara said. "We immediately began performing CPR, put him in an MDA intensive care unit and evacuated him to hospital in critical condition while continuing CPR operations."

An investigation into the circumstances of the incident has been opened, and suspicion of criminal background has been launched.
