A dispute escalated on Saturday evening at the train station in Gernlinden. One man punched another in the face with his fist.
Gernlinden - The two drunken men got into an argument around 20:45 p.m. on the platform in Gernlinden. This escalated and the 32-year-old hit the 34-year-old in the face with his fist. As reported by the railway police, the 34-year-old wanted to strike back, but did not do so because the perpetrator was accompanied by a child.
The 34-year-old was treated by the ambulance service. The breathalyzer test showed that the 32-year-old Ukrainian had 2.1 per thousand in his blood, the 33-year-old Serb 1.7. Why the two got into an argument is still unclear.
