After a meticulous recount in view of the very tight gaps between several lists, the results for the senatorial elections in the Hauts-de-Seine were proclaimed this Sunday, shortly after 20:15, in the salons of honor of the prefecture of Nanterre. But it was not until so late that part of the assembly present – essentially elected representatives who make up 60% of the electoral college of this election by indirect universal suffrage – chanted the first name of Marie-Do Aeschlimann, elected at the head of a dissident LR list.
