Sammy's life so far has not been easy. The Nuremberg animal shelter is now looking for a nice home for the nine-month-old animal.
Nuremberg - The Nuremberg Animal Shelter is looking for a home for dog Sammy. He got there via a seizure, according to a Facebook post.
"His life so far has not been easy" - dog Sammy ends up in the Nuremberg animal shelter
"His life so far has not been easy," the shelter writes to several photos of Sammy. He was kept in a cage on the balcony and probably not treated very well. "In the beginning, he was quite anxious and snapped out of fear." In the meantime, however, this has already become much better.
Sammy is totally sweet and cuddly with people he likes. The shelter describes him as a "bright guy". Nevertheless, he is still anxious in some situations, so it could be that he then snaps.

"He hasn't met much in his life so far," the shelter said. The nine-month-old male also needs a lot of training. Depending on his sympathy, he gets along relatively well with other dogs, but Sammy is often still insecure.

"For heaven's sake": Facebook followers of the Nuremberg animal shelter are horrified
In the comments under the shelter's Facebook post, followers are horrified: "For God's sake. How did you come up with the idea of keeping a dog in a cage on the balcony??" My Area
For dog Sammy, exactly this home is now sought in a "low-stimulus environment", i.e. on the outskirts of the city or in the countryside - without small children and with people who understand him and give him the time he needs. In addition to Sammy, numerous other animals are waiting for a new home, for example dog grandma Gimich or Alfi. If you would like to give one of the animals a home, you can fill out the shelter's contact form. (came)
