(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 25 - 2024 will be a year of reforms, fromtaxes to Italian schools, Premier Giorgia Melon said on theanniversary of her big general-election win on Monday.
"2024 will be a very important year, the year of the greatreforms that this nation needs: tax reform in the first place,but also the start of constitutional reform and the reform ofjustice. And then, the great merit reform, particularly inschools," she said on social media, marking the 12-monthanniversary since her Brothers of Italy (FdI) party led acentre-right/rightwing coalition to victory in the generalelection, making her Italy's first woman head of government.
"In front of us we have a big job to do but this is what we willdo to respect the commitments made to the Italians. Italy haschosen us and we will not betray it". (ANSA).
