More than 50 "levers"
In his concluding speech, Emmanuel Macron is expected to list the 52 "levers" that the government wants to use to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030. On the budget side, an additional €10 billion has been released for the ecological transition, including €seven billion "disbursed" next year.
A first presentation to political party leaders
Elisabeth Borne, who had been charged by Emmanuel Macron to identify, sector by sector (transport, industries, agriculture ...), the effort necessary to meet the decarbonization objectives of the France, presented her conclusions to the leaders of the political parties last Monday and then to the National Council of the Refoundation (CNR) the next day. If the left had been suspicious and even disappointed, the number one of Europe Ecology - the Greens (EELV) Marine Tondelier had nevertheless welcomed "a very complete, very lucid and quite unprecedented observation". More details to read in our article on the subject.
