Like every day, Michel Barbier goes around his land, grasslands where his 70 cows are grazing. At 62, this farmer has been retired for two years but continues to supervise the family farm passed on to his son, in Senantes (Oise), about twenty kilometers northwest of Beauvais. This Thursday, September 21, approaching the fence, he quickly sees that something is wrong. From a distance, he sees one of his animals lying on the ground.
