The rectorate of Versailles sent last year 120 letters "said disapproval" to families, 55 of which "seem to raise questions," said Monday the Minister of Education Gabriel Attal, at a press briefing after a meeting with the rector.

What I can tell you at this stage, in view of the information that has been communicated to me, is that over the 2022-2023 school year, 120 so-called "disapproval" letters have been sent, "said the minister.

This meeting followed the revelation of a threatening letter, sent by the rectorate to the parents of Nicolas, a teenager who subsequently committed suicide in Poissy (Yvelines) after being a victim of school bullying.
