(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 25 - Deputy Premier and Transport andInfrastructure Minister Matteo Salvini on Monday reiterated hiscall for the State to hold an amnesty which would allow peopleto pay to have small infringements of building regulations andtax disputes pardoned.
"As regards small construction-rule breaches, which could besorted and bring in lots of money to local councils, and smalltax disputes, not big or total tax evaders but small savers,we'll talk about it with the Economy Minister (GiancarloGiorgetti)," League leader Salvini said.
"In my opinion it would be good for the State, which wouldpocket revenue, and for millions of citizens who could be moretranquil".
Opposition parties have criticised the idea, saying suchamnesties encourage people to break the rules. (ANSA).
