Highlights: 180 sqm makeover: a glimpse of a spectacular renovation - voila! Home & Design. Throughout Israel, beautiful houses have been built and renovated in recent years, one of which is the one in the community of Einav. The style chosen is rustic, cozy and calm in winter tones. The color palette and materials we worked with are purely shades of stone, brown and gray, combined with touches of wood. We added an industrial touch with an exposed constructive steel beam and iron railing. The master suite boasts a high sloping ceiling with exposed wooden beams, painted in a parquet tone.

Welcome to the home of a couple in their 30s - he is an electrical engineer and she is a teacher and they have 4 children. They decided to significantly expand their existing 90-square-meter home prior to the renovation to suit the family's needs now and in the future. They hired the services of an architect who planned the building and accompanied them in the process of issuing permits and approvals in the council, and they approached the designer Einav Tayer Dinovich to design the interior.

"I came to this amazing family during the renovation, when they already started building the second floor of the house and starting planning while the house was being built was undoubtedly a challenging experience," she recalls. "Everything was done at top speed, including building the concept, preparing new plans for the interior of the house such as lighting and air conditioning plans, planning the windows and personal carpentry."

"The couple longed for a spacious house with the public areas planned in space and a large kitchen centered on an island. The style chosen is rustic, cozy and calm in winter tones. The color palette and materials we worked with are purely shades of stone, brown and gray, combined with touches of wood. We added an industrial touch with an exposed constructive steel beam and iron railing.

"During the renovation, quite a few challenges were discovered. One of them was a descending steel beam that we had to add to strengthen the ceiling between the kitchen and the dining area. After some thought, we decided to leave it exposed and in this way add an element with an industrial look to the design of the house."

When the front door is opened, what is visible are the jagged stairs that we covered with wood and the dining area above which hovers a magnificent chandelier lamp. The ground floor was designed as an open space wrapped in large windows in which we combined two types of glass: transparent glass and granny glass. We created the internal window sills from solid wood.

"In the large, wide kitchen in the center of which is an island, we designed a pot faucet that emanates above the stoves so that it will be comfortable and easy during cooking. Carpentry is personal carpentry designed according to the needs of the customers."

The master suite boasts a high sloping ceiling with exposed wooden beams, painted in a parquet tone. I designed for them a spacious and large cabinet in custom carpentry, combined with shelves and a large window overlooking the view. Many storage spaces were planned throughout the house, and each cabinet was addressed in its planning and design according to its location in the house."
