(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 26 - One of nine youths arrested Tuesdayfor suspected gang rape of two cousins aged 10 and 12 at theCamorra-infested town of Caivano near Naples in July filmed oneof the rapes on his phone and broadcast it live, a Naplesminors' judge said in the arrest warrant.
Seven minors and two adult teens have been arrested or subjectedto other 'precautionary measures' in the case, which shockedItaly and led to a government visit and crackdown on crime inthe Naples backwater which is dogged by Mob drug and crimerackets.
Preliminary investigations judge (GIP) Umberto Lucarelli saidthe suspects "brutally too advantage of the weakness and tenderage of their victims, sure that they would not be reportedbecause of their shame and the threat of distributing images ofthe attacks"." (ANSA).
