Between Fürmoosen (Moosach) and Taglaching (municipality of Bruck), the construction project for the second wind turbine has been given the green light by the authorities.

Moosach/Bruck – The second wind power plant in the district of Ebersberg has received the building permit. This was announced by District Administrator Robert Niedergesäß (CSU) at a press conference on Tuesday. This means that construction is about to start on the municipal border of Bruck and Moosach, between Taglaching and Fürmoosen on Moosacher Flur.

Wind turbine "Hirtenholz" to go into operation in 2024

According to the planners, the commissioning of the "Shepherd's Wood" project is to take place next year, either in autumn or winter. This was confirmed by co-initiator Hans Zäuner of EZ when asked. "It went through relatively quickly," says Zäuner about the approval phase.

Total height of almost 230 meters: Construction to begin in winter

This was also due to the timely, extensive agreements with the authorities on the required documents. Construction of the facility, which has a hub height of 160 metres and a total height of 230 metres, is scheduled to begin in winter.

The tailwind for the expansion of wind power in the Ebersberg district is blowing stronger than ever. Around two dozen possible locations are currently being discussed more or less concretely. The bottom line is that mayors and city and municipal councils are proving to be driving rather than slowing down the expansion of wind power.

The obstacle is rather the lack of location, for example in the densely populated northern municipalities or in the southeast, where there is a lot of nature but hardly any suitable potential areas. The latest overview can be found in the article "Gold rush mood in wind power: Where rotors are now planned in the district of Ebersberg".
