In one of her strangest and most disturbing posts in recent times (and there is no shortage of them, we must admit), Britney Spears posted a video to her Instagram account on Tuesday morning in which she can be seen dancing while dressed in revealing clothes and holding two large knives - accompanied by the caption "I started playing in the kitchen today with knives."

In the dance, the 41-year-old star is seen aggressively brandishing knives, rubbing them and pinning them together, with three curious dogs walking around on the floor behind her. In addition to the 200,000 likes of those who may be perceived as unaware of safety - the online criticism, of course, was not long in coming.

The reassuring news is that after a while, Spears chose to update the controversial post, adding the sentence "Don't worry, these are not real knives! Halloween soon!" We relaxed.
But the truth is, it doesn't end there, as gossip site TMZ mentions that Britney allegedly has a shady history with knives. In fact, only about four months ago, the website published that when her father's guardianship ended, the people who cared for her claimed that Brittany was attracted to knives because she saw them as tools for self-defense that would help her in case they wanted to hospitalize her again, and recommended not giving her access to them (they also recommended not allowing her to drive the car alone).

Now, not long after the highly publicized separation from husband Sam Asghari after just 14 months of marriage, these recommendations seem to be gaining strength.
