(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 26 - The government is expected to revisedownwards to 0.8% the GDP growth estimate for 2023 in its updateto its DEF economic and financial blueprint, the NADEF, sourcessaid on Tuesday.
In the DEF presented in April, the government set the GDP growthestimate for this year at 1%.
The 2024 growth trend, the starting point for calculating theplanned GDP forecast for next year, is expected to be set ataround 1%, compared to 1.4% in the DEF, the sources added.
The NADEF is due to be examined by cabinet on Thursday. (ANSA).
