Looking at the weather in the coming days, meteorologist Dominik Jung can only shrug his shoulders. Most people will be happy about this.

Munich – With very few rainy days in the rearview mirror, September is slowly coming to an end. The balance reads almost entirely sunny, it is certainly one of the warmest September since weather records began.

Above all, friends of the Oktoberfest in Munich should have been happy about the great weather - and are looking forward to the forecasts for the upcoming last Oktoberfest weekend, which is also the last of the month. And this much can be revealed in advance: The boredom of the meteorologist is good news, this also applies to the weather in Franconia.

Weather slump in Bavaria is imminent - why this is a reason for joy for many

In the current wetternet video on YouTube, meteorologist Dominik Jung takes a look at the weather for the coming days. And already at the beginning of the video he says: "Yes, the weather is so boring in the next six to seven days ...". What the weather expert means by this becomes clear in the following minutes of the video.

Because it shows that no change in the weather is to be expected in Bavaria in the coming days. Throughout Bavaria, and thus also on the Munich festival grounds, temperatures will fluctuate at around 3 degrees up to and including Tuesday, October 25 – German Unity Day and the last day of the Oktoberfest. On Friday, September 29, they will even scratch the 30 degrees again.

So why is the imminent weather slump in Bavaria good news? Because it won't come until the middle of next week at the earliest! From Wednesday, October 4, "it could go downhill towards normal temperatures for the current season," according to meteorologist Jung.

The weather is a Oktoberfest friend – temperature drop comes on time

So this year's Oktoberfest definitely seems to enjoy sympathy with the weather, as punctually as the temperatures drop from the day when the world's largest folk festival closes its doors again for a year. With sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less than 20 degrees, the next week is coming to an end, according to the wetternet video. Forecasts for October in general, on the other hand, cannot yet be determined with any degree of accuracy. (FHZ)
