A survey conducted by Prof. Yitzhak Katz (Brain Database) in Kiryat Gat, a month before the local elections, presents unflattering data for Kfir Suissa. Those who were supposed to be an alternative to Mayor Aviram Dahari, who has been in power for twenty years, receive only 11% support in the poll.
Just before entering the final stretch of the local elections, the "Brain Database" polling institute, headed by Prof. Yitzhak Katz, conducted a broad survey among opinion holders in the city of Kiryat Gat. The survey of 501 people, who constitute a representative sample of the population in the southern city, brings surprising news.
It is important to note that in a survey conducted by the Brain Database in October 2018 (the previous elections), the polls predicted a victory for Dahari by 49%, and in the actual results Dahari received 50%.

On August 16, the results of the primaries were published at the local Likud branch in Kiryat Gat, in which Suissa also lost to the incumbent mayor despite the support of Culture and Sports Minister Miki Zohar.
The survey also examined Aviram Dahari's situation in an election scenario in which all the candidates for mayor unite on one list against the mayor, the Joint List receives 8% support and Aviram Dahari 41%, which is in fact the only chance of the candidates defeating the incumbent mayor in the first round, and probably at all.
