History repeated itself in the spring in Yerres (Essonne). As reported by Valeurs Actuelles, a 67-year-old retiree fell into a trap set by teenagers. It all began on Sunday, April 16, when passers-by saw a seriously injured man in the street. The victim, hit in the arm in particular, is bleeding. But the man rushes into his car and leaves the scene, without waiting for help or the police...

However, an investigation for attempted murder was opened. Thanks to video surveillance, the agents manage to trace the path of the retiree. He is seen arriving in a public car park on Rue Cambrelang with a young boy. Then two other young people, hooded, tumble down behind them. One carries a handgun. The rest will not be filmed by the city's cameras, but by the attackers themselves.
Identified by the police and summoned by the investigators of the departmental security of Essonne, the sexagenarian explains that he frequented dating sites. Shortly before April 16, he would have set a date with a "young adult", according to his statements. The boy who introduced himself that day would have seemed "much younger" than the Internet user with whom he was conversing.
Adolescents summoned to appear before the juvenile judge
Shortly after, according to his account, the 67-year-old man was assaulted, brought to his knees, surrounded by teenagers. The scene, peppered with homophobic insults, was filmed.
According to the police investigation, they were four teenagers (three boys and one girl), aged between 14 and 15, who would have been aware of the criminal record of the pensioner, already convicted of acts of a paedophile nature. All were placed in custody Monday, September 25 at the departmental security. One of them was eventually cleared. The other three were presented at the judicial court of Evry on Tuesday. The trio were released and handed over to their parents. They were summoned to appear before a juvenile judge on 14 November.
