Watch: Dog saves best friend from drowning/story in a minute
Moving footage from China reveals the moment a passerby spots a little girl about to drown in a gushing river in southern China's Guangdong province – and his reaction saved her life. The footage shows a seven-year-old girl drifting uncontrollably in the river when the man, who happened to pass by, immediately sprang into action and jumped into the strong current.
The man is seen swimming towards the girl, who is lying face down in the water, he reaches her and grabs her and pulls her out of the water. When they both get out of the water, it is revealed that the girl with her school bag on her back.

According to local media, this incident ended without casualties, and even the girl is seen standing on her feet at the end of the video, although it is not yet known how she fell into the river.
