Poverty, education, gender equality, work and climate change are the issues on which Retex focuses on priority, as the company underlines in its first impact report, presented today in Milan on the occasion of Milan Green Week. A few months after the transformation into a benefit company, which formalized a path of corporate social responsibility and ethical commitment already an integral part of its DNA, Retex, the MarTech company that accelerates the connections between brands and its customers, presented its report, highlighting how the sustainable transformation of companies as the only possible way for the survival of the business in the medium to long term. "All the details are available in the report, in a mix of internal projects, and therefore carried out by and for our people, and external projects, i.e. carried out in collaboration with individual customers. But what I would like to underline is the reason behind the choice to channel our actions within the framework of the UN 2030 Agenda: we want to give our key interlocutors the tools to better read the goals achieved. It is a path of continuous improvement, which is first and foremost a challenge for ourselves," said Fausto Caprini, CEO of Retex. Created to share with key stakeholders the goals achieved, challenges and future objectives in order to create shared value for the community to which it belongs, the Report photographs the actions of common benefit achieved in 2022, divided into 5 macro-chapters, one for each of 5 of the 17 sustainable development goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda chosen as priorities for its work. In detail, eradicating poverty; quality education; gender equality; decent work and economic growth; and the fight against climate change. "Our consulting unit cuts across all Retex business areas and works closely with the other teams to ensure a comprehensive and distinctive offering. We work to integrate sustainability issues into companies' business plans. This is the real keystone. A question of ethics, of course. But also business. Finance says it, the legislator says it but, above all, the market says it. With the new generations no longer willing to compromise on central issues such as environment and DE&I," said Zornitza Kratchmarova, ESG lead at Retex.
