In the course of a nationwide raid against the banned right-wing extremist association "Artgemeinschaft", there has also been a major police operation in Saxony-Anhalt. According to the Ministry of the Interior, three objects were searched in the Burgenland district on Wednesday morning. Among other things, storage media, mobile phones, laptops, documents, a complete SS uniform and logos of banned associations were seized.
Zeitz - A total of 100 state police officers were involved in the searches.
The ban is an important step in the fight against right-wing extremism, said Interior Minister Tamara Zieschang (CDU). It is worrying that the association offers space to other neo-Nazis to pass on their anti-constitutional beliefs to families and children. The prohibition order of the Federal Ministry of the Interior had been handed over to four members of the association in Saxony-Anhalt.
Federal Interior Minister Nancy Faeser (SPD) had the right-wing extremist association banned. In a statement, she described the "species community" as a "sect-like, deeply racist and anti-Semitic association." Nationwide, according to the Ministry of the Interior, 26 apartments of 39 members were searched. Dpa
