The Council of Ministers approved this Wednesday morning the possible recourse to article 49.3 of the Constitution for the draft law of programming of public finances, whose examination in session in the Assembly begins this Wednesday evening, we learned from government sources.

The deliberation of the Council of Ministers is necessary to allow the use of this article which allows the adoption of a text without a vote, unless a motion of censure were in return to overthrow the government. The draft law on the programming of public finances has already been rejected in 2022 by the Assembly, where the government has only a relative majority.
