L1 TLV Complex - Services / Rami Sinai
About five years ago, businessman Boris Levin (one of the owners of the Mediterranean Towers Group) purchased the Gallery Palace complex at 2 HaLohamim Street in Tel Aviv, near the Baal Shem Tov light rail station. Today, after an investment of NIS 20 million and 24 months of renovations, it has completely changed. The complex underwent a facelift, the façade, parking lot and center space were completely changed, and its name was also changed to the Downtown complex. In the past year, Levin's son, Tal Gordon Levin, one of the owners of the Bellboy Group, and Eliran Bardugo, one of the leaders in the field of production in Israel, initiated a joint project in the renewed complex - the construction of a new event hall, called L1 TLV Cconvention Center, which is now opening.
This is a huge event hall in Tel Aviv, covering 2500 square meters and more than 600 square meters balcony, and serves mainly as a conference and business events complex. The wide space has been meticulously planned and provides the ultimate response to the needs of the producers and celebrants there. The design aspect is very noticeable, starting with the entrance that simulates the entrance to the subway, the parking lot with graffiti art, an abundance of vegetation, and breathtaking works of art that adorn the various spaces. The complex is versatile, and knows how to adapt itself to business and private events of various sizes, from intimate events for 30 people to huge events with 2000 people, through proper space distribution.

Rami Romano, the project's architect, notes that "this is a very interesting and challenging project, in which an old and ugly building that required a facelift and renewal without turning it into a foreign plant in its surroundings. When I received the owner's vision to open a conference hall that would serve producers and companies for business events, there was a great need for an innovative and modern look, yet versatile, that could serve professional conferences alongside designed and branded events."
Romano says that the location of the complex played a major part in the design. "L1 TLV is located on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, at the Ayalon exit, Highway 1, 431, adjacent to a bus terminal, Israel Railways station and light rail stations. All these inspired me to enter as a metro station, like in Europe. When you ascend to the hall from the station, you enter a modern urban gem full of spectacular works of art. The space is designed, cozy, beautiful and inviting as it is but can still take any shape for any occasion. I put the pearls and surprises in places where the guest "freshens up" during an event. No longer banal, drab toilets that characterize conference halls for its kinds, but those designed in a completely different style. The huge balcony is filled with lush green vegetation and warm grill lighting that corresponds with the sunset on the west side."

Not only the toilet has become a special corner of the hall, but also the parking. "We mapped the parking lot and held a competition between 30 Israeli graffiti artists who painted stunning graffiti works, over 150 meters running of graffiti art like no other place in Israel," says the architect.
Tal Gordon Levin, one of the owners of the L1 TLV event complex: "The idea behind L1 TLV is to bring to Tel Aviv a conference and events center like no other, suitable for companies and organizations that need to produce various events for employees, customers, investors, from a professional conference to huge parties and larger-than-life events. We chose the exact location for L1 TLV – on the exit from Ayalon, close to the light rail, Israel Railways and with lots of parking to make the experience of arriving at the event very easy and pleasant."
