EUR 530 million. This is the amount, according to the latest report of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, of French military aid to Ukraine. A modest figure compared to the contribution of some of Kiev's other partners, the United States (42.11 billion), the United Kingdom (6.58 billion), Germany (17.1 billion) or Finland (1.22 billion) seeming much more generous. The criticism, which has become recurrent, is brushed aside by the Ministry of the Armed Forces, which wishes to highlight more the "quality" of the arsenal provided. For example, Paris has delivered to Ukraine its famous CAESAR guns – 30 copies. In addition, there are several dozen armored vehicles, air defense systems, long-range Scalp missiles, two unit rocket launchers (LRU)...
Le Figaro has therefore tried to retrace the course of French equipment. While some seem already destroyed or out of order, others remain used in places where combat is raging. Like next to Bakhmut.
