It is a case that seems unfathomable and crystallizes the worst fears. Seven days have passed since Lina, 15, was last seen walking along the 350 road linking her home to Saint-Blaise-la-Roche (Bas-Rhin). The teenager, who had to take a TER train to Strasbourg to join her boyfriend, fainted in the depths of the Bruche valley. Since then, despite intense searches, Lina is still nowhere to be found.
The girl, who had to reach the station of Saint-Blaise-la-Roche on foot, was not accompanied. Her mobile phone, which she never seemed to leave, stopped broadcasting at 11:22 a.m., just minutes after the teenager sent a final video of herself to Tao, her boyfriend. The latter Lina in Strasbourg station, before giving the alert directly to the mother of the teenager, when the latter suddenly stopped responding to his messages.
Since then, Lina has not given any sign of life, leaving her loved ones in fear and misunderstanding. An investigation for "disturbing disappearance" was opened by the Saverne prosecutor's office, which mobilized impressive human resources to find the teenager. In parallel with the citizen beatings that made it possible to comb several square kilometers of land and forests in the area, several dozen soldiers from the Strasbourg research section and the Bas-Rhin gendarmerie group conducted search operations and sounding of ponds located near Saint-Blaise-la-Roche, still without success.
A fulfilled and "happy" teenager
This Friday, investigators were mobilized in Bellefosse, seven kilometers from Saint-Blaise. Several cars of the same model interested the gendarmes, warned by a witness that this type of vehicle had been seen at the scene of the disappearance of the girl Saturday shortly before noon. Could Lina have been abducted along the departmental road?
During a press conference given on Tuesday, the prosecutor of the Republic of Saverne said that the teenager had been seen along the departmental 350 between 11:15 and 11:30 by two witnesses. Along this narrow road, nothing disturbs the vegetation, which is abundant. The passage is rare, and it is easy to disappear without making noise or leaving a trace.

On Tuesday, nearly 400 people came from all over Alsace to help, affected by this disappearance. During the day, several volunteers already confided to Le Figaro their doubts. "I don't think she's in the forest," described a volunteer to Le Figaro, met at the very end of the fight. "We go around in circles and we don't know where to look," said another, disillusioned by the situation.
Lina's relatives have continued to show their optimism. The mother of the missing teenager said "do not let go", not believing in the hypothesis of a runaway of her daughter. Her friends and her boyfriend, Tao, have continued to paint the portrait of a fulfilled and "happy" teenager, also sweeping away the thesis of a voluntary disappearance. In internship for two weeks in a supermarket in Saint-Blaise-la-Roche, Lina "was fine", as attested by an employee contacted by Le Figaro. "She was supposed to be there until the end of October. Her mother and boyfriend would pick her up from the store at the end of the day," she said.
"We don't live it well at all"
The latter, named Tao and aged 19, is the last known person to have communicated with Lina. The couple, formed only a few months ago, were to meet in Strasbourg to "go to the restaurant" and "go shopping", before joining the family of the teenager in his hamlet located near the commune of Plaine, a small village nestled in the heights of the Bruche valley.

Transferred about ten days ago to Strasbourg as part of a France tour with the companions of duty, the boy is described by a relative of Lina as someone "adorable", "kind" and "always there" for his girlfriend. He regularly came to sleep at Lina's mother's house with the teenager. "Hecame several times to pick her up at the store at the end of the day, especially during his first week of work," attests the employee of the supermarket of Saint-Blaise-la-Roche.
The young man has always explained that he waited for his girlfriend on the platform of the Strasbourg train station. Not seeing her get off the TER, Tao would have looked for Lina along the docks, in vain. Despite this strong alibi, the young man was the target of suspicion. Many rumors suggest that the young man lost his mobile phone while looking for his girlfriend. Comments on his attitude, judged here "suspicious", there "bizarre" by many Internet users after several appearances on television, inevitably fed a feeling of mistrust towards him.
On social networks, some people did not hesitate to compare him with Jonathann Daval, who in 2017 had mourned the discovery of the body of his wife found burned in a wood, before confessing to killing her. Since then, Tao has naturally closed in on himself. "He does not want to express himself too much, he is not well," summarizes a close to the couple in Le Figaro.
Lina's mother flew to the rescue of Tao on Friday, denouncing to TF1 a "hurtful" situation. "It's no longer possible, I can't let it happen. Tao is suffering," she said. A feeling widely shared by Lina's entourage, still waiting for answers. "Everyone is doing very badly. We do not live it well at all, "laments the same relative. In the Bruche valley where "everyone knows each other", the eyes are now turned to the investigators, who give everything they can to find the teenager before it is too late.
