"You've always been the good part of us": Steff Jerkel shares emotional message to ex Peggy
The last weekend of September did not prove to be particularly relaxed and restful for Steff Jerkel. Because instead of a boat tour with dog Elsa, the Mallorcan ended up in the emergency room, as he explains in his Instagram story. He doesn't reveal what exactly happened, but shortly afterwards shares a selfie with his fans from his hospital bed and thanks his lifesaver: Ex Peggy.
"I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, Peggy," Steff says to the mother of daughter Josephine, "For the second time you saved my ass. Luckily we won't know how it would have ended the first time and how it would have ended this time." He ends his loving message with the words: "Just thank you. You've always been the good part of us."
The love story of Steff Jerkel and Peggy Jerofke
In 1998, Steff Jerkel met Peggy Jerofke in Arenal, Mallorca. In 2009, the two emigrated together to the Balearic island. There they opened a Greek restaurant. Since 2014, the two have been regularly in front of the camera for the emigrant documentary "Goodbye Deutschland" on VOX. In 2018, their daughter Josephine was born thanks to artificial insemination. In 2020, Steff Jerkel was diagnosed with TTP (thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura). But that wasn't a reason for the couple to slow down. In 2021, they moved into the celebrity flat share of "The Summer House of the Stars".

And Peggy? She also commented on the eventful day on Instagram. "Once again, my feeling has not deceived me," writes the power mom, "I'm glad that I prevailed this morning and went to the clinic in Palma with Steff." She doesn't know how long he will have to stay in the hospital, but explains that her ex – whose romantic message she shared on her Instagram story, including a heart emoji – has pneumonia.
