Heino caused a scandal with his remarks on the gender issue on "Sat.1 breakfast television". Now the next TV appearance is imminent and the fans are eagerly waiting to see how he does.
Leipzig – Schlager star Heino (80) has recently caused Germany-wide discussions. The singer promoted his new album on live TV, which covers controversial songs such as "Layla". On "Sat.1 Breakfast Television" he spoke quite negatively about gender-appropriate language. The actress Uschi Glas (79) also complained about gendering at the Oktoberfest. Now the debate about Heino could continue – the next TV appearance is imminent.
After gender debate on live TV: Schlager star Heino in MDR talk show "Riverboat"
On November 3, 2023, Heino will be a guest on the MDR talk show "Riverboat". As can be seen in the station's program announcements, he sits there together with other well-known personalities, such as Verona Pooth (55), Annett Louisan (46) or Steffen Henssler (51), in the Leipzig studio and chats about various topics. It is not clear whether the gender issue will also be dealt with in the conversations with moderators Kim Fisher (54) and Wolfgang Lippert (71). However, viewers are likely to be curious to see whether similarly polarizing scenes as in "Sat.1 breakfast television" take place.

Heino himself was not only able to determine that he had caused an uproar in celebrity Germany with his statements - he also had to fear for his own appearances. An organizer wanted to exclude him from an event in Switzerland because of his opinion on gender. In the meantime, the concert promoter has also made a decision in the Heino case.
