Video: Police arrest suspect in murder of Bnei Shlomo/Israel Police Spokesperson's Office
Hani Kashut, a 20-year-old resident of Ramle, was charged today (Monday) with the murder of the head of the Bnei Shlomo crime organization. The defendant, a member of a well-known criminal organization from central Israel, was arrested about a month ago in an apartment on the 30th floor of a luxury tower in Ramat Gan - after a manhunt of almost a year after him. He was charged with murdering Bnei Shlomo along with others, injuring his security guard, robbing a car and endangering passersby.
According to the indictment, Kashut conspired with two others who were part of an entire assassination squad. In order to promote and carry out the assassination plan, the cell took many actions, including receiving a stolen vehicle with fake license plates and license plates stolen by them from another vehicle, as well as two pistols, ammunition, three sock caps and two bottles containing gasoline.
The indictment also states that on October 3, 2022, the victim was at a gas station located on the north side of Highway 44, guarded by his private security guard. Shlomo arrived at the scene for the purpose of meeting with Hamuda Kashut, the brother of the accused, and spoke with him during this time. At 14:30 P.M., the assassination squad entered the gas station's parking lot. When she arrived, two of the squad members got out of their car with pistols and sock caps over their faces. The two ran towards Shlomo and shot at him - while Shlomo tried to escape and save his life. After the two noticed the security guard, one of the two shot him in order to neutralize him. One of the members of the assassination squad chased the deceased, who at some point fell. He then caught up with him and fired several bullets at close range to confirm his death.

Shlomo's body sustained multiple systemic injuries that led to his death. Two bullets penetrated the security guard's body, causing severe injuries to his internal organs, and he required surgery and prolonged hospitalization. Later, according to the indictment, the two members of the assassination squad returned to their vehicle and began driving wildly and dangerously.
Police officer S., who noticed what was happening towards the end of the shooting, immediately began chasing the assassination squad while riding his scooter. At one point, Officer S. clung to the killers' vehicle while riding a scooter and shouted, "Stop the police." The shooters noticed Officer S. and tried to run him over. In response, Officer S. fired a police pistol at the rear of the execution vehicle until the ammunition he had at the time ran out. As a result of the shooting, the killers' vehicle collided with the rear of another vehicle, making it impossible for the squad to continue driving their vehicle and causing heavy damage to the other vehicle.
The members of the assassination squad got out of the car with their guns drawn and ran towards the Holon interchange. Nearby, a driver who was in his car robbed his car at gunpoint and drove it wildly and dangerously, on the way to their getaway vehicle.
The indictment charges Kashut with aggravated murder, aggravated battery under aggravated circumstances, willfully endangering people's lives in a traffic lane, aggravated battery with intent, aggravated robbery, carrying a weapon and changing the identity of a vehicle.

After about a year of manhunt: suspect arrested in assassination of head of Bnei Shlomo crime organization
See full article >
Shlomo was killed about a year ago at a gas station on Derech HaShiva near the area. Another man, 40, was seriously wounded by gunfire. MDA teams evacuated them to Wolfson Hospital while performing CPR on Shlomo, who was critically wounded by the gunfire - but eventually died of his wounds. The seriously injured man was taken to hospital in an unstable condition.
The police investigation revealed that the shots were fired by unknown persons who got out of vehicles, opened fire at them and fled the scene. About a month ago, at the end of a manhunt, the police arrested the main suspect in the assassination, who is apparently a mercenary sent by a criminal organization.
Since the day of the murder last October, the suspect has managed to escape from the police, who constantly employed special forces and special means to apprehend him. The activity even included searches in Judea and Samaria after it was discovered that he was hiding there. Police believe that the criminal organization that sent him to carry out the assassination helped him escape from the police.
However, the police received information about the general area where the suspect was located, and that he was receiving assistance from other people. Finally, he was trapped in an apartment on the 30th floor of a luxury building in Ramat Gan.
After a year, an indictment was filed. Shlomo/Walla system! NEWS, Benny Ben Simon
Bnei Shlomo, the "mastermind" of the criminal world, was assassinated at the beginning of October at a gas station on Derech HaShiva near the area, after about a decade in which he managed to evade dozens of assassination attempts. For years he was the right-hand man of the so-called "boss", the senior criminal Shalom Domrani and the financier in his organization. He decided to turn his back on him, established an independent organization and even managed to "steal" some of Domrani's soldiers, and form coalitions with the criminal Eyal Nagar and the Caucasian gang from Ashkelon.
When Domrani was released from prison this year, everyone knew that a new war was coming. Domrani's organization grew stronger and the assassination squads swept the south. The police, who followed Shlomo's every move, were surprised by Shlomo's sharpness of thought and called him a "computer."
