It is hard to imagine that here, just a few years ago, a major drug trade flourished every day at the foot of a 20-unit building. Called the Trident, the building has since fallen, as evidenced by the mounds of rubble visible behind the palisades, and the Place des Petits pas now opens onto wide tree-lined paths, green spaces and parks where children can walk and play safely under the gaze of their parents.
