Taufkirchen - Many companions and friends also accepted a long journey to attend the inauguration of Andreas Noll as the new director of the Taufkirchen secondary school.
In doing so, they have set an example to mark the beginning of a special path as headmaster, said Vice Principal Josef Hanslmaier, who welcomed everyone and wished them a good, common path. District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer also warmly welcomed Noll to the district and saw the surprising number of attendees as a good sign.
Many guests of honour and friends of the new headmaster took part in the celebration in the auditorium of the secondary school. The school choir also sang.
Born in Giessen, studied in Wetzlar and continued his influence in the Realschule Marktheidenfeld and Haag, Noll now holds a model school in his hands, in which a great deal has been invested and which convinces beyond the district borders because of its excellent quality of work. Bayerstorfer praised Noll as "competent, fair, with a high level of social competence and great skill in dealing with people". And he urged him to keep the school on the road to success together with the staff.
"You must be an incredibly important personality" because so many had come to the inauguration, said Taufkirchen's mayor Franz Hofstetter. He hoped that the school would continue to be one of the best in Bavaria in terms of the excellent, collegial atmosphere, the smooth running of the school and the good grade point average.
Peter Peltzer, Ministerial Councillor of the Secondary Schools in Upper Bavaria.East, was sure that he had found a "worthy, competent and hard-working successor" as well as a good team leader, not a lone fighter, in Noll. Together with the motivated staff, Noll will take on the responsibility of providing the students with the necessary knowledge in the cognitive and social areas. He was able to gain a lot of experience in Franconia and Haag and trained as a school manager at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern. Although he is a math and chemistry teacher, who experience has shown to be rather sober and rational, he has come to know Noll as an empathetic teacher who always puts "the well-being of people in the foreground".
The new headmaster thanked them for the words of praise and compared everyday school life with a mountain tour, their obstacles and their joys when the summit was finally climbed. He came from the sheltered position of a vice-principal and was pleased to have found "motivated teachers, an effective school management, a well-functioning administration and a caretaker who feels responsible for his house" in Taufkirchen. The most important thing for the teaching profession is "that we like our students, that we are willing to accompany them on their way", but also show them limits. He asked the students to accept the necessary help from classmates and teachers, to let them take them by the hand for part of the way, and then to train problem-solving thinking independently again through diligence and practice. Parents should stand by their children, let them go and trust them to do something. "Because after overcoming obstacles, pride and self-confidence grow."
The inauguration was musically framed by the brass ensemble Jessica Lee Stabbert and Andreas Jodl, the school and teacher choir and the big band. Afterwards we were invited to a standing reception. (mel)
