The start of the week in Bavaria will be sunny and warm, followed by a small cold snap. A meteorologist explains what happens after that.
Munich – The warmest September since weather records began has come to an end. And "October is very likely to continue in the same way as the month before," explains meteorologist Dominik Jung in his forecast for wetter.net. "It could be a very warm October," the weather expert suspects.
Bavaria is spoiled with sun on the bridge day and public holiday - Up to 28 degrees
The south of Germany will be spoiled with sunshine on the bridge day on 2 October. On the map, which can be seen next to meteorologist Jung, up to 26 degrees are shown for Bavaria. Hoch Sonja ensures the best summer weather. The Day of German Unity will be even hotter: The thermometer could climb up to 28 degrees in the Free State. However, there will be more cloud fields on Tuesday, according to Jung.

Small cold snap after holiday - But warm air is getting going again
Wednesday and Thursday it will be a little cooler in Bavaria, the maximum temperatures will probably be a good 19 degrees. "Then the warm air is very likely to get going again," the meteorologist predicts. Friday, Saturday and Sunday in a week's time it could be pleasantly warm again. According to Jung, 21 to 29 degrees are possible in Germany. In Bavaria, however, midsummer is probably no longer breaking out. According to wetter.com, just over 20 degrees are predicted for Munich and Nuremberg forthe weekend in question.

Golden October? Up to 23 degrees in the middle of the month in Bavaria
But the ensemble prognosis gives hope. Until 14 October, temperatures in the direction of the 25-degree mark are possible from time to time, as Jung shows using the example of Potsdam. This also applies to Munich. According to wetter.com, it could get up to 23 degrees here in mid-October. The same applies to Nuremberg. So Golden October lives up to its name. (came)
