On the B13 in the district of Würzburg, there was a violent head-on collision on Monday morning. A motorist died.
Eibelstadt - A serious accident occurred in the district of Würzburg early Monday morning, October 2. A woman was killed, as the police said in a press release. Around 5.15 a.m., the accident on the B13 near Eibelstadt was reported by an attentive witness via the emergency call.
Accident in the district of Würzburg: motorist dies after collision with another car
A 55-year-old driver, who came from the district of Würzburg, was traveling on the main road in the direction of Würzburg. Shortly before Eibelstadt, there was a serious head-on collision with an oncoming vehicle. The 55-year-old died at the scene of the accident, while the 46-year-old driver of the oncoming car was seriously injured.
The Ochsenfurt police inspectorate has taken up the investigation into the accident. In order to reconstruct the incident exactly, an expert was called in by order of the public prosecutor's office. "In addition to the police officers from the Ochsenfurt and Würzburg police stations, the rescue service and the volunteer fire brigades from Eibelstadt and Sommerhausen were also on duty," the press release continues.
