This Monday, exceptional levels for the season will once again be reached. The temperature can once again reach up to 30 ° C in the northern half of the country, the threshold of high heat and exceed this bar in the southern part. This will make the difference all the more surprising with Tuesday.

In a few hours, the temperature will lose up to ten degrees, with the exception of the Mediterranean where nothing or almost nothing will change, or even where it may be a little warmer than this Monday. This is due to the arrival of a cooler air mass from the Atlantic. It will be accompanied by some rain in the night, morning and early afternoon. However, this will only be a relative impression of freshness because "we will simply return to the normal season". And again, it will continue to be a few degrees warmer than the temperatures expected in October.

Over the whole month, Météo France recalls that in the northern part of the country the maximum temperatures are rather around 15 ° C, against about 20 ° C in the southern half. This drop in temperatures will be temporary. From Wednesday, if the levels will remain similar, the sun will impose itself more massively on the country, increasing the feeling. Then, gradually, during the rest of the week temperatures should rise again to lead next weekend to a situation similar to that of the weekend that has just ended.

It can be up to 25 ° C, or even more, in the northern part, the heat threshold could be reached. In the southern part, the 30 ° C and the threshold of high heat should once again be crossed, especially in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

This exceptionally warm and sunny weather for an early autumn will be marked by an absence of rain. Except for the few precipitations that are expected between Monday evening and early afternoon Tuesday, no drops are expected.
