A serious accident occurred in Lower Franconia on Monday. A woman died shortly afterwards in hospital. The cause of the collision is still unclear.
Neubrunn - Two cars collided head-on near Neubrunn in the district of Würzburg. An 2-year-old woman was killed in the accident early Monday afternoon, October 84.
Woman dies in an accident in the district of Würzburg: Two men injured in hospital
The 84-year-old was a passenger in the car of an 82-year-old. This had collided head-on with another car in a slight right-hand bend, police said. The elderly woman died a short time later in hospital. The 82-year-old was seriously injured and taken to a clinic.
The 43-year-old in the other car also came to a clinic for treatment because of his injuries. It is currently unclear how the accident could have occurred. The police are investigating. (came)
In the Upper Palatinate, there was already a serious accident on Sunday. A man had rolled over several times with his car and had been critically injured.
