The last time Hadid addressed the situation in Israel on her Instagram was about a month and a half ago, when she shared an excerpt from Itamar Ben-Gvir's interview with Yonit Levy, in which he said that his and his family's right to life is more important than the right of movement of Arabs. Hadid shared the story with her millions of followers and wrote: "One person's life should not be more precious than another person's life anywhere and at any time, especially in 2023, mostly because of their origin, culture or just pure hatred for them."

In August 2022, Hadid took part in American Muslim journalist Noor Tagouri's podcast in which she shared that due to her pro-Palestinian views and the harsh messages she shares against Israel, many friends stopped working with her and friends cut off contact with her altogether. Despite her inflammatory and harsh anti-Israel posts, Hadid, 26, insisted that her goal was not to spread hatred. "I support my Palestinian brothers and sisters," she echoed the line she says she wants to convey in her posts. "When I talk about Palestine, I'm labeled as someone who isn't me."

Unlike his daughter, Bella's father, Palestinian businessman Mohammed Hadid, 74, who is also a frequent critic of Israel's conduct, did not fill his mouth with water and chose to share a series of anti-Israeli stories and posts on his Instagram in which he wrote, among other things, against the background of a photo of Itamar Ben-Gvir: "The least of this human being, Bibi and the right-wing government of this Zionist state, One hundred percent responsible for creating this escalation between the occupier and the occupied. It's that simple. Erasing the Palestinians from the map of the United Nations is organized arrogance (the new Middle East). It's shameful."
