The horrific massacre of the elderly, women and children, and even babies in their cribs, whose only sin is being Jews, was encouraged by Tehran and with the weapons it supplied Hamas or helped it produce. But the money that financed the massacre, as well as the stirring up of Hamas' and Hezbollah's jihad war in Israel, comes from Qatar, where Hamas' political leadership is located. And to this it was said: "Find his species," or in the case before us - the Hamas snake found warmth and support in the Qatari snake's nest.
Qatar spends billions of dollars washing its hands of blood and marketing its image as a modern, even pro-Western country. But these dollars do not obscure the simple fact that in Israel, and indeed everywhere in the Middle East, from the Persian Gulf to North Africa, where innocent blood is spilled, the traces and dollar routes that financed the murderers lead to Qatar.
Israel must recognize that not only the concept that Hamas is a responsible adult who deserves to entrust Gaza to keep quiet for us has collapsed with great fanfare. Alongside it collapsed an equally absurd conception, according to which Qatar is a partner of Israel and the moderate countries in the region in an effort to achieve calm and ensure quiet, and all that is needed is to grant it legitimacy and a warm embrace, and allow it to inject billions of dollars in the (failed) hope that these will fund economic development, not terrorism.
This, by the way, was discovered by the rulers of Arabia long before us. Back in 2018, many Arab countries, led by Saudi Arabia and Egypt, severed diplomatic relations with Qatar and imposed a political and economic boycott on Qatar, claiming that it and its Al Jazeera channel spread hatred and encourage extremism and violence. But the mobilization of Western countries on behalf of Qatar blocked the Arab move to punish its rulers and restore them. It turns out again, therefore, that sometimes it is worthwhile to listen to the Arab rulers, who know the "goods" no less than we do.
This is the case with Hamas, which under our closed eyes has built itself a terrorist state, even though Egypt and other Arab countries have tried to warn us that Hamas, like their Muslim Brotherhood, is a danger that must be eliminated, and not try to change its ways in the hope of better days. And so, it turns out, even in the case of Qatar, it turned out to be a hornet's nest that endangers stability and security in the region.
But Qatar manages to deceive us and the world. It embraces the Iranians and encourages extremist terrorist elements in the Middle East, but at the same time hosts American military forces on its soil. These protect Qatar, allowing it to play its double game.
Thus, while Al Jazeera describes the United States, not just Israel, as an enemy, and encourages harm to it and its interests, the channel's owners, the rulers of Qatar, are praised and grateful by the American administration, which still sees it as a reliable ally. The Americans are therefore willing to look away and ignore Qatar's sponsorship and support for Hamas murderers – as well as the Taliban, by the way, and other dark movements that have made Qatar the focus of their activity.

But what about us complaining about the American government? After all, we, too, took pride in the dialogue we hold with Qatar, and took pride in the axis of contact we maintained through it vis-à-vis Hamas. And so we ignored the fact that by opening the door we opened to her, we allowed Qatar to funnel the money that financed the organization's horrific massacres.
And of course, it is impossible not to mention the channel of hatred and the spread of extremism Al Jazeera, which is entirely dedicated to promoting the image of Qatar and its rulers, alongside promoting an agenda of violence and terrorism. Al Jazeera can be trusted that wherever blood is spilled, it will stand up to defend the murderers.
Until now, Israel in Qatar used silk gloves, as did the Americans. Maybe it's time to realize that Qatar isn't the solution – it's the problem.
