Hamas released a video Monday evening of Noa Marciano, a lookout at the Nahal Oz post who was abducted to Gaza when the war broke out on October 7, as part of its psychological terrorism.
Hours later, the IDF Spokesperson issued a statement referring to the publication. "Our hearts are with the Marciano family whose daughter, Noa, was brutally kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization," he said. "The IDF, together with all agencies, will continue to accompany the Marciano family, as well as all the families of the abductees and missing persons."
"We are using all means, intelligence and operational, to bring the abductees home. An IDF representative arrived at the family's home and informed them of the release of the video. Hamas continues to employ psychological terror and behaves inhumanely, through abducted videos and photos, as it has done in the past."

In a statement earlier today, Brigadier General Daniel Hagari said that Israeli abductees were suspected of being in a tunnel under Rantisi Hospital in the Gaza Strip. They found signs of their presence, including a bottle and diapers belonging to a toddler that may have been used for an abducted Israeli baby, a despair chart on a wall, a chair with ropes tied on it, and a makeshift kitchen.
"We found a motorcycle that we believe the abductees were brought there on top of it, a chair with ropes tied on it, a baby bottle and a WHO flyer," Hagari said in a statement. "They built an improvised toilet and an improvised kitchen as well, which we believe was used by the terrorists, among other things, to hold the abductees. They put a curtain, not to block out the sun but to shoot videos discreetly. We also found a table of despair on the wall."
"When I was there, I thought about the abductees, the elderly and the children," Hagari added. "Hamas cruelly uses them as human shields. These are war crimes, and the world needs to know, it must not forget the crimes. We will release the abductees from Gaza and we will liberate Gaza from Hamas, for the citizens of Israel and for the residents of Gaza."
