The cat owner Andrea Atzori and his former partner Irina Albu, managers of the feline oasis of Su Pallosu, on the coast of San Vero Milis in the province of Oristano, did not invade the land of the others. And they're not smearers. They were acquitted of both charges because the fact does not exist by the single judge of the Court of Oristano Cristiana Argiolas. This was reported by the protagonists of the long judicial affair themselves from the official website of the Cultural Association Friends of Su Pallosu.
The facts date back ten years. The main attraction of the area, the cat colony, is the bone of contention.
Problems with neighbors who have never liked the presence of four-legged friends. And over the years it has been a war that ended in court: the two managers had denounced some inhabitants of the village for threats and damage. Then came the lawsuit, against the managers themselves, for "invasion of land and soiling".
A tourist attraction: more than 14 thousand people have passed through the visits to the oasis and the cats that roam the sea in 55 years. "To have received awards for tourism excellence from Tripdavisor visitors themselves," reads the site, "through their reviews, TV reports from all over the world (Japan, Russia, Argentina, Switzerland...) as well as Italia with Rai, Mediaset, La7 Tv2000, Bell'Italia etc., it has single-handedly dismantled the non-credible accusation of defacement and defacement".
Ten years of battles. "Our case shows," explains Atzori, "that being a cat fat keeper with passion and commitment can be an activity that is in fact considered dangerous.
