The body of a man killed by two shots to the head and with a threatening note to President Javier Milei was found in the last few hours in Rosario.
"If Milei wins, there will be more death," read the note found among the murdered man's clothes.
The incident took place on Sunday night in the vicinity of Liniers at 2200 in the western area of Rosario, according to police sources told the Telam agency.
According to initial reports, the man (who has not yet been identified) was thrown from a car and shot twice in the head on a public road.
According to testimonies collected, there were at least two occupants in the car from which the victim was taken out, who would have been escorted by a man on a bicycle and another on a motorcycle.
The first agents to arrive at the scene were from the Radioelectric Command, who seized a note from the victim's clothes.
"
If Milei wins, there will be more death. To good connoisseurs, few words," the text read.
Sources from the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPA) indicated that the body had gunshot wounds to the right neck, left jaw and right eye.
The case is being investigated by the prosecutor, Alejandro Ferlazzo, and the experts confirmed that they had not found any shell casings at the scene and that the neighbors declared that they had heard at least two detonations of a firearm.
Shortly after the fact, the local police found a car on fire in Valparaiso at 1800, included in the same area of that city and the Prosecutor seeks to establish if this finding has any connection with the homicide.
In this way, the department of Rosario, which comprises 24 localities and is the most populous in that province, accumulates 232 intentional homicides so far this year, according to the Observatory of Public Security.
