Vaping professionals see red. As the government presented its anti-smoking plan on Tuesday morning, anger is rising in the e-cigarette sector. To make tobacco less attractive, plain packaging, without a brand logo, will be extended to all tobacco and vaping products. Professionals still don't know what form this will take on e-cigarettes and heating tobacco. This is a real slap in the face for this sector, which has 4 million users and a turnover of around one billion euros. Although the double-digit growth of 2000 and 2010 is no longer relevant, the market remains dynamic (more than 5% growth per year), boosted by product launches, the opening of new stores and the expansion of online sales.
