A truck overturned on the A8 in Bavaria because the driver had poorly secured the load. The closure in the direction of Munich was lifted in the early hours of service.
Update, 17:20 p.m.: After a 37-year-old truck driver overturned on the A8 near Jettingen-Scheppach and lost his load – beer crates and empty bottles – on the road, the motorway in the direction of Munich had to be temporarily closed. As the police now announce, the closure has been lifted. The clean-up work has been completed.
First reported on 28 November, 15.35 p.m.: A truck overturned on the A8 in the district of Günzburg, it had loaded crates of drinks and empty bottles. The accident caused damage of around 100,000 euros.

Beer crates loaded: Semitrailer overturns on A8 in Bavaria
The driver (37) had secured the load poorly, which is why the tractor-trailer overturned on Tuesday, November 28. This was announced by the police. The empties then spread on the road near Jettingen-Scheppach. According to the fire department, there were beer crates with empty bottles among them.

The closure of the A8 in the direction of Munich continued in the early afternoon, as the police further announced. The slightly injured 37-year-old is now awaiting fine proceedings. (kam/dpa)
