A new scandalous book is giving King Charles a hard time. Presented insider information does not reflect well on the British monarch.
London – King Charles III (75) will wonder when the nightmare that has haunted him since his coronation will end for him. Even "survived" scandal stories such as the unspeakable Netflix documentary of his son Prince Harry (39) and Meghan Markle (42), in which the Sussexes processed their departure from the British kingdom, catch up with him. A scandalous book comes up with new insider information about Charles III.
Instead of paying attention to the king, everyone watched the Sussexes' Netflix release "Harry & Meghan"
King Charles was reportedly furious when the Netflix docuseries "Harry and Meghan" dominated the headlines in December 2022. As an insider in "Endgame" (by Omid Scobie, 42) puts it, Charles, as the newly crowned head, did "his damn best" at the time to gain positive media attention after the death of Queen Elizabeth II (96, † 2022) in September 2022.
"The King was really sad about the whole situation," the source told Scobie three months after the series premiered. "He was angry, but he also didn't want the people in front of him to talk badly about his son. It was a brief moment when he stopped and realized how bad things had become."
It has been widely reported that Charles and his youngest son have not been on particularly good terms since Harry and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
Of course, the couple's Netflix deal, followed by the Duke of Sussex's scathing memoir, "Spare," didn't help heal the wounds between the father-son duo.
Despite the settlements, both Charles and Prince Harry reportedly tried to improve their relationship.

Scobie goes on to note that Charles' sympathy for Harry and Markle "soon disappeared" as their media attention trumped his own. In his frustration, Charles moved on to "not wanting anyone to talk about his son anymore," even openly criticizing him as "that jerk," as another insider puts it.
The last stage of the father-son relationship was tender ties for the King's birthday, where, according to the Telegraph, the young children Harry and Meghan's cute birthday wishes for Grandpa Charles were recorded to wish him a happy 75th birthday. Such statements do not look good on a king. It was also the Queen's wish that Charles and Harry reconcile. Sources used: pagesix.com, dailymail.co.uk
