A 25-year-old woman who is heavily pregnant was murdered today (Thursday) in a stabbing attack on HaAliya Street in Lod. The woman arrived at Shamir Assaf Harofeh Hospital with critical injuries. The medical team fought for an animal and performed an emergency cesarean section in an attempt to save the fetus, but the two were pronounced dead shortly after.

Benny Joseph and Liad Aggie and MDA emergency medic Shimon Paresh, MDA paramedics, said: "When we arrived at the scene, there was a lot of commotion around the injured woman, who is in advanced pregnancy, lying unconscious and suffering penetrating wounds to her body. We immediately gave her medical treatment and began performing advanced resuscitation on her, including massages and breathing, put her in the intensive care unit and quickly evacuated her to the hospital while continuing to perform CPR while her condition was critical. She was pronounced dead and the fetus later pronounced dead at the hospital."

Following the announcement of the woman's death, the Abraham Initiatives announces an increase in the number of murdered from Arab society in 2023 to 220.
