"

Odious. Ricotera. Rabble. Always faithful." This is how "La Loca Tita" described herself in her Facebook bio, a woman who lived on the edge of death and ended up shot to death at the age of 30. On Wednesday afternoon, she traveled 70 kilometers from Cañada de Gómez to Rosario in a car that always took her wherever she asked. He came to a place to talk to a woman, who shot him to death.

"La Loca Tita" was Yazmín Abril Quinteros. "Always queen," "Always mommy," she posted. A single mother of a 13-year-old boy, she had had her run-ins with the law. And it wasn't to be hidden. In one of his posts on his previous Facebook account, he wrote: "I will be what I will be, but you lack blood and to put a pipe like I did." And he concluded: "Go and make the complaint, dirty, take a bath."

The crime took place minutes after 16:30 p.m. on José María Rosa and Chubut, at the entrance to the Antártida Argentina neighborhood, northwest of Rosario.

"La Loca Tita" was aboard a gray Ford Focus driven by a man. At first it was said that he was a remisero, but judicial sources told Clarín that "it was common for him to take her to some places when she asked him to."

The woman he encountered stood on the passenger side door and fired, apparently with a .22-caliber handgun. They believe that both had agreed to meet at the scene. She has not yet been identified.

What is known is that Yazmín had served a 5-year prison sentence for robbery, which she had agreed to through an abbreviated trial.

The driver of the Focus was delayed until his version was corroborated by witnesses, who said they had seen the suspect. To try to elucidate who he is, prosecutor María de los Ángeles Granata requested that both public and private security cameras in the area of the crime be surveyed.

"La Loca Tita" had lived near where she was killed. When he got out of prison, he took up residence in Cañada de Gómez.

After the attack, the man driving the Focus sped up and stopped a couple of blocks ahead to call police. Quinteros' body was left inside the car. At the spot where he was shot, the officers picked up three shell casings.

The background that landed her in prison

According to the newspaper La Capital, on September 13, 2015, around one o'clock in the morning, the young woman boarded a taxi with a friend at 1000 Sánchez de Loria, in Rosario. They loaded several bags into the trunk of the car and asked the driver to take them to San Lorenzo and Rodó. From there, after being there for about ten minutes, they asked to continue to Rouillón and Cerrito.

But halfway there, when they arrived at Montevideo and Cullen, they assaulted the driver. Yazmín, sitting in the place of companion, intimidated him while her accomplice put a plastic knife to her neck.

They stole what she had of value and went in the taxi to Junín and Vélez Sarsfield, where they were arrested, since the vehicle had satellite tracking.

For that robbery, "La Loca Tita" was sentenced to 2 years in prison, a sentence that was unified with a previous sentence of 3 years and 6 months handed down in September 2014 for a "qualified robbery by use of a firearm".

"

I am a queen, a warrior and always a winner," she had written on social media, where she also boasted about her actions. Her cover photo showed one of her hands, with her sculpted nails pointing to more than $3,000 and the caption: "Stroke of luck."

For this reason, her friends were not surprised by her predictable and violent end in her farewell: "You lived as you wanted, crazy" and "Fly high, Tita, one day we will see each other again".
