Enzo Iacchetti, comedian and actor, donated an ambulance to the Italian Red Cross that will be used in Bergamo. During the lockdown, he often thought of the people who live in those towns where emergency vehicles are scarce. Listening to the sirens of ambulances crossing the streets of the city, Iacchetti decided to commit himself to the purchase of an ambulance to donate to the Italian Red Cross. He did so by raising funds through 'It's not a book', his latest book, the result of those moments of forced solitude due to the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, in which he combined all the thoughts of those days spent alone at home, during the first lockdown.

An ambulance that on December 1 was officially delivered to the Bergamo Committee of the Italian Red Cross at the end of the ceremony at which the presence of Rosario Valastro, president of the Italian Red Cross, Maurizio Bonomi, president of the Bergamo Committee of the CRI, as well as Enzo Iacchetti and Giorgio Gori, mayor of Bergamo, was also announced.

During the ceremony, the video 'Roads, lives and courage' was also released, which tells the emergency situation that Bergamo has had to face since March 2020, the tragedy of the pandemic through the point of view of three CRI volunteers who worked incessantly during the first lockdown.
