Monday, December 4
Steingaden - Garage fire: On December 3 at 15:45 p.m., a fire in a garage in Hopfenfeldstraße was reported. Neighbors had become aware of the fire and tried to extinguish it with fire extinguishers and snow. At the same time, the fire brigade was alerted, which finally extinguished the fire. The investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing. Deliberate arson can be ruled out at this time. The damage to the garage amounts to about 25,000 euros.
Weilheim - Trouble about cigarette smoke - roommate punched in the face with a fist: On the morning of 2 December, there was a physical altercation between two male persons in the area of Weilheim's city centre. The injured 34-year-old wanted to address a 36-year-old roommate due to the strong smell of cigarettes in the stairwell. The latter, however, was not very insightful and hit the 34-year-old in the face with his fist and pushed him to the ground. At the time of the reception by the officials, the atmosphere was still heated and both parties had to be forcefully separated from each other and reassured. The victim suffered minor injuries and subsequently sought medical treatment himself.
Rott/Wessobrunn - Hit-and-run traffic accident: On the afternoon of December 1 at around 16:25 p.m., there was a hit-and-run traffic accident on the state road 2057 between Rott and Wessobrunn. A 36-year-old from Königsbrunn was driving his car in a westerly direction. In the course of the route, he was overtaken by a hitherto unknown car. At the same time, however, a 57-year-old driver from Rott approached with her car. The unknown car overlooked oncoming traffic, so that the driver had to swerve and collided with the vehicle of the 36-year-old from Königsbrunn. No one was injured in the accident, and the vehicles suffered property damage totalling around 10000,0881 euros. However, the unknown overtaker continued his journey in the direction of Wessobrunn without paying attention to the accident. Anyone who can provide information about this car is asked to contact the Weilheim Police Inspectorate at 6400/<>.
Wielenbach - Damage to two cars: In the period from 30 November to 2 December, the rear window of two cars parked there was scratched in Wielenbach, in the Gorigasse. There was damage in the amount of about 2000 euros. Anyone who can provide information about the perpetrator or perpetrators is asked to contact the Weilheim Police Inspectorate on 0881/6400.
Raisting - Hit-and-run: On the afternoon of December 3 at 15:25 p.m., a 50-year-old man from Wielenbach was driving his car along Kirchenweg in Raisting. In the course of the road, an unknown car came towards him and touched his left wing mirror. But instead of stopping and taking care of the damage, the unknown car drove on without stopping. The person who caused the accident is asked to contact the Weilheim Police Inspectorate on 0881/6400, as well as anyone who has made observations of the accident.

Weilheim - Danger situation due to heavy snowfall: On December 2 at 14:38 p.m., the Integrated Control Center Oberland was informed about a loud bang at the apartment building at Paradeisstraße 30 in Weilheim, with the suspicion that damage to the façade could have occurred due to the snow load.
Schongau - Snow chaos in the Altlandkreis: The emergency services of the Schongau police and the volunteer fire brigades of the Altlandkreis had to move out to numerous operations over the weekend due to the extreme snow conditions. The main focus of the helpers was on traffic accidents with property damage and obstacles on the roads. Due to the special weather conditions, there were a total of eight traffic accidents in the Altlandkreis, to which the police had to be called. Fortunately, there were no personal injuries and there was a total loss in the mid-five-digit range. In addition, numerous trees fell onto the roadways under the heavy snow load and had to be removed by the fire brigades. Due to the fallen trees, entire sections of road were temporarily closed and vehicle traffic was temporarily diverted.

Sindelsdorf - Three accidents on the B472: There have been three crashes since Thursday in the Sindelsdorf area.
Schongau - Overtaking manoeuvre on B17 ends in collision: A traffic accident on Thursday afternoon on the B 17 near Schongau kept the emergency services on their toes. While the accident was being recorded, the main road had to be closed.
Schwabbruck - Bus accident with slightly injured driver: On November 30 at 12:40 p.m., a 24-year-old Allgäu man drove his van backwards out of a courtyard driveway onto Schwabsoiener Straße. In doing so, he obviously overlooked a bus that was traveling in the direction of Schwabsoien. The driver of the bus was unable to avoid a collision despite emergency braking. As a result of the impact, the rear of the van was damaged, as well as the windshield and the front of the bus. The damage to the two vehicles amounts to around 23,000 euros. The bus driver was slightly injured by the impact. The 11 children on the bus and the driver of the van were uninjured. The children were picked up by their legal guardians at the scene of the accident.
Schongau - Hit-and-run: On November 29 between 20 p.m. and 22.30 p.m., an unknown vehicle hit a stone gabion fence in Lerchenstraße and damaged it. The property damage amounts to about 2,000 euros. If you have any information about the fugitive vehicle, please contact the Schongau police station.
