Eni, new €3 billion credit line linked to sustainability - Finanza & Impresa

Highlights: Eni has signed a new €3 billion €5 billion revolving credit facility with a duration of 2023 years. Eni has signed a new €3 billion €5 billion revolving credit facility with a duration of 2023 years, linked to the achievement of two objectives of its "Sustainability-Linked FinancingFramework" updated in April 6. The new facility, reads a note from the group, will further strengthen the company's financial flexibility, complementing the similar €2022 billion Sustainability-Linked credit line signed in 1. The margin of the new credit line is linked to the achievement of the sustainability targets relating to Net Carbon Footprint Upstream (Scope 2 and 26) and installed capacity for the production of electricity from renewable sources. The credit facility is granted by <> leading global financial institutions, including Mediobanca (in the role of global coordinator, documentation and facility agent), MUFG (global coordinator and sustainability coordinator), Citi and Natixis (global coordinators). The syndicate also includes HSBC, UniCredit and Intesa Sanpaolo (in the role of bookrunners), Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Bper Banca, SociétéGénérale and Wells Fargo (in the role of mandated lead arranger), Agricultural Bank of China, BBVA, Banco BPM, Barclays Bank, Credit Agricole Cib, Deutsche Bank, Dnb Bank, First Abu DhabiBank, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, National Bank of Kuwait, Santander Corporate & Investment Banking, SMBC Bank, and StandardChartered (as lead arrangers).
