President-elect Javier Milei on Tuesday called on his followers to attend on Sunday in the vicinity of the National Congress where the ceremony of handover and assumption of the new government will be held.
"Presidential inauguration. Sunday, December 10, 11 a.m. Congress of the Nation," reads the flyer published this morning by Milei on his account on the social network X (formerly Twitter), along with the caption "Long live fucking freedom."
The president-elect also made a special request to his followers: that everyone carry an Argentine flag.
As planned, at 11 a.m. the Legislative Assembly will begin inside Congress, before which Milei will take the oath of office and then receive the attributes of command from outgoing President Alberto Fernandez.

Sources from La Libertad Avanza (LLA) anticipated that Milei will give a brief message to the assembled deputies and senators and then go outside Congress to give a "message to the nation" from the steps of Parliament.
Milei will then drive to Government House, where he will be greeted by foreign delegations arriving in the country and, in the afternoon, sworn in to his cabinet.
Among the guests are King Felipe VI of Spain, Hungary's ultranationalist Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and Armenia's President Khachaturyan Vahagn. Also Santiago Abascal, leader of Vox; Brazil's former president, Jair Bolsonaro, and his son Eduardo. In addition to the presidents of Paraguay, Santiago Peña; Chile's Gabriel Boric, and Uruguay's Luis Lacalle Pou.
