It could have been a joke," La Repubblica summed up. In Genoa, a 55-year-old man was arrested for drug trafficking in his hair salon, the Italian daily reported on Friday. Officially, he worked as a hairdresser, but in between cuts, he sold drugs. It was his own clients who betrayed him in spite of themselves. Indeed, many bald and beardless men were assiduously going to the barbershop, which aroused the suspicions of the authorities.
Searches and discovery of narcotics
During an initial search of the living room, investigators found several grams of hashish. Then, 100 grams of cocaine, precision scales and equipment for packaging the doses were then discovered in a mezzanine.

After investigation, it was established that some customers combined the cutting with the purchase of one or more doses, while others came exclusively to buy narcotics. The barber-hairdresser-dealer was imprisoned in Marassi prison in the Genoese region.
